Presenter Proposal Form

The 2024 Presentation Proposal Form is available for persons interested in presenting at the One Goal Summer Conference. Presentation Proposals should focus on program tracks listed on the form. If you wish to make a presentation at the Conference, please complete and submit the Presenter Proposal Form no later than April 5, 2024.

All proposals will be reviewed by the Planning Committee and the primary presenter noted on the proposal will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance of the proposal. While multiple proposals are encouraged, we will only select one or, space allowing, a maximum of two.

Due to logistical issues, the Planning Committee voted to have speakers present demonstrations, videos, visuals, etc., rather than engage attendees in make & take or hands-on activities. Extra tables may be requested for demonstrations.

The Florida Early Learning Developmental Standards developed by the Division of Early Learning, Florida Department of Education; and the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework define what children should know and be able to do. The Classroom Assessment and Scoring System™ (CLASS™) is the tool that the state has adopted to measure classroom interactions, an important predictor of quality linked to better child outcomes.  This summer, the One Goal Summer Conference Planning Committee is asking presenters to be explicit in connecting these standards whenever possible to their presentations and demonstrate how they can promote positive classroom interactions.  Doing so will help educators better understand how to integrate them into every facet of their program day.

The conference registration fee will be waived for the primary presenter only. All co-presenters will need to register and pay the registration fee. All presenters are responsible for making their own hotel reservations and any other expenses incurred.

There are a variety of ways to select to complete the form. You can:
1) download the PDF document, complete it on your computer, and submit it via email or mail; or
2) use the online form and submit the information directly online.

Using the PDF form will require software such as Adobe Reader to open and complete electronically. If you elect to print the form out, hand-completed forms are not recommended due to the difficulty in reading hand writing.
